Green Chili Stew Soup Recipe

Easy to make soup. My favourite.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
1 teaspoon ground cumin, 2 pounds cubed beef stew meat, ground black pepper to taste, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, A 10 ounce can of diced tomatoes with green chile peppers, salt to taste, 1 onion chopped, A 4 ounce can of chopped green chile peppers, 1 1/2 cups beef broth, 1 teaspoon garlic salt and 2 large potatoes peeled and cubed.
Method of Preparation:
Brown stew meat in oil and cook the onions until the onions become translucent. Add the tomatoes with beef broth, chiles and chile peppers. Add the garlic, salt and cumin. Add salt and pepper according to taste. Boil and then reduce the heat. Boil gently for an hour. Add some more beef broth or water if needed to thicken or lighten. Add the potatoes and boil gently for 30 minutes.
