Albondigas Soup Recipe

One of the most delicious soups that one can prepare at home in no time.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
1/2 cup white rice, 1/4 pound pork sausage, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 egg beaten, 1 pound lean ground beef, 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 onion chopped, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 cup milk, Two 14.5 ounce cans of peeled and diced tomatoes, Six 14 ounce cans of beef broth, An 8 ounce jar of salsa, 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper and 1/2 cup cornmeal.
Method of Preparation:
Cream salsa, beef broth, onion, dried basil, oregano, tomatoes and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. If condensed beef broth is being used. Remove the salt from the meatballs and use all cans of broth except for one and add one quart water. Allow to boil and then gently for 20 minutes. Mix cornmeal, milk, salt, onion, ground chuck, sausage, egg, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, garlic powder and fresh basil and stir. Shape it into small balls. Put the rice and the small meatballs in the broth and boil gently while covered one and a half hours.
