Margarita Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients
Unsweetened coconut flakes, toasted (1c), Tequila (6tbsp), peeled and sectioned oranges (2small), granulated sugar (1/2c), hulled and halved strawberries (2c), honeydew melon, cut into pieces or scooped into balls (1small), peeled and sectioned grapefruit (1), lime juice (3tsp), orange liqueur (6tsp), orange juice (1/3c), granulated sugar (1/2c), straw berries hulled and halved (2c), peeled and diced mango (1), cantaloupe, cut into small pieces or scooped into balls (1small).

Method of preparation:-
margarita-fruit-saladTake a bowl, mix melon, strawberries, mango, oranges, grapefruit and cantaloupe in it. Mix them well and then keep the bowl aside. Take a small bowl, place it over medium heat. Heat sugar and orange juice in it for about 3 minutes or until the sugar gets dissolves. Stir the juice while heating. Mix orange liqueur, lime juice and tequila in it. Take off the pan from heat and keep it to cool. Transfer this mixture to a bowl then mix all the fruits in it. Now keep the bowl in the refrigerator for about 2 to 4 hours. Take out the bowl from the refrigerator before serving and sprinkle the coconut over the salad and serve it.
