Simple Mexican Rice Recipe

Short grain rice, uncooked (1c), chicken broth (1 3/4c), tomato paste (1/4c), vegetable oil (2tbsp), chopped onion (1), ground cumin (1tbsp), minced garlic (1tsp), chili powder (1tsp).
Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a pan, heat oil in the pan. Sauté onion until they get soft. Add cumin, chili powder in the pan and cook for about 30 seconds. Then add the rice, chicken broth and tomato paste in the pan. Keep the mixture to boil. Take an oven dish, cover the dish with lid. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake it for about 40 minutes. When the rice gets cooked then take out the dish from the oven. Keep it for 5 minutes and then serve the rice in the serving dish.
