Mexican Chocolate Cake Recipe

A very easy to make chocolate cake.

Ingredients of the Recipe:

5 eggs, 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 3/4 teaspoon baking soda, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1 cup butter melted, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 cups white sugar, 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/4 cup water, 1 cup evaporated milk, A 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, A 12 ounce can of evaporated milk, 2 cups all purpose flour and 1/2 cup butter.

Method of Preparation:

Heat up the oven to 350 degrees F. Over medium heat, combine a cup of evaporated milk and the 3/4 cup of cocoa in a pan. Dissolve the cocoa from heat and allow to rest. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a pan. Add water, vanilla, eggs, melted butter and the cocoa mixture. Mix thoroughly and spread evenly in the pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

For chocolate icing: Mix the remaining evaporated milk, cocoa, condensed milk and butter and cook while stirring constantly. Remove from heat when the mixture becomes thick and paste like. Spread over cake.
