Mexican Apple Cake Recipe

Ingredients of the Recipe:
1. all purpose flour (3 cups)
2. white sugar (2 cups)
3. salt (1 teaspoon)
4. vanilla extract (2 teaspoons)
5. ground nutmeg (1/2 teaspoon)
6. baking soda (1 teaspoon)
7. chopped walnuts (1 cup)
8. ground cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
9. finely chopped walnuts (1/4 cup)
10. apples peeled, cored and diced (2 1/2 cups)
11. vegetable oil (1 1/2 cups)
12. raisins (1 cup)
13. can of cream cheese frosting (16 ounce)
14. 3 eggs beaten
Method of Preparation:
1. Heat up the oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a tube pan. Mix oil, vanilla, sugar and beat with eggs.
2. Sift flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl. Pour in the egg mixture and add the apples, nuts and raisins.
3. Put in a pan and bake for 1 1/2 hrs. Cool and cover with cream cheese icing. Sprinkle chopped nuts on the top.
