Chimichangas de Manzana (Apple Fritters) Recipe

Flour tortillas (6 about 12”), oil (for frying), corn starch (6tbsp), brown sugar (1/3c), sugar (1/2c), unsweetened apple pie filling (1can or 16 oz), ground cinnamon (1tsp).
Method of preparation:-
Take a saucepan, add apple filling and cornstarch in it. Cook it until it gets thickens. Add cinnamon and white sugar in it. When the mixture gets thicken then keep it to simmer for about 5 minutes. Take tortillas and spread apple mixture on the one side of it. Fold the tortillas to cover the filling and then roll the tortillas. Make more in the same way. Take a frying pan, heat oil in it and then fry the chimichangas in it until they turn lightly brown in color. Drain them on paper towel the soak the excess oil. Serve them immediately.
