Polvorones de Canele (Cinnamon Cookies) Recipe

All purpose flour (1 1/2c), butter (1c), ground cinnamon (1/2tsp), confectioner sugar (1/2c), vanilla extract (1tsp), ground cinnamon (1tsp) and confectioner sugar (1c), salt (1/4tsp).
Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take cookie sheets and grease them. Take a bowl of medium size, add confectioner sugar of 1/2c and butter in it. Beat them until get smooth and then add vanilla in it. Take another bowl, mix flour, cinnamon of ½ teaspoon and salt in it. Then add this mixture to the cream mixture. Mix well to make soft dough. Make small balls of this soft dough of about 1 inch. Take a plate, mix confectioner sugar of 1 cup and cinnamon of 1 teaspoon. Then roll the balls of dough in this mixture. Place the cookies on the greased cookie sheets and then bake them in oven for 15 to 20 minutes until the cookies turn brown in color. Take out the cookies from the oven and place them on wire rack to cool.
