Mexican Wedding Cookies Recipe

1. All purpose flour (2c)
2. chopped almonds (1c)
3. white sugar (1/2c)
4. water (2tsp)
5. confectioner sugar (1/2c)
6. vanilla extract (2tsp)
7. butter (1c)
Method of preparation:-
1. First heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Take a bowl of medium size, add butter and white sugar in it and then make the cream of this mixture. Mix water and vanilla in it. Add flour and the chopped almonds in it. Blend them until get blended.
2. Then cover the bowl and keep it in the refrigerator for about 3 hours until it gets chill. Then take out the dough from the refrigerator and make the small balls of this dough.
3. Place these balls on ungreased cookie sheet, pat them and then bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes. Now take out the cookies from the oven and keep them on rack to cool. When the cookies get lightly cool then roll them in the confectioner sugar. Store them in air tight container.
