Ingredients
All purpose flour (1c), sugar (1/2c), beaten eggs (1large), salt (1/4tsp), margarine (1/3c), baking powder (1tsp), shredded Monterey jack (1c).

Method of preparation:-
First heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a cookie sheet, grease it lightly. Take a bowl; mix softened margarine and sugar in it. Then add cheese and all ingredients except the beaten egg. Mix all ingredients well to make soft dough. Roll the dough into small sticks, the size is about 3 ½ by ½ inch. Place the sticks of dough on the cookie sheet and then pat them to make them flatten. Apply the beaten eggs on the top of sticks. Place the sheet in the oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes. When the cookies get crispy then take out the cookies from the sheet and keep them to cool on rack.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies
