Big Soft Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
All purpose flour (2 1/4c), white sugar (2tbsp), ground ginger (2tsp), molasses (1/4c), baking soda (1tsp), water (1tbsp), ground cinnamon (3/4tsp), egg (1), ground cloves (1/2tsp), white sugar (1c), soften margarine (3/4c) and salt (1/4tsp).

Method of preparation:-
big-soft-ginger-cookiesFirst heat the oven to 250 degrees F. Take a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, salt, clove and cinnamon in it. Then keep it aside. Take a large bowl, beat margarine and sugar of 1 cup in it until the mixture gets fluffy. Beat egg in it and then add molasses and water in it. Add the mixture of flour into the mixture of molasses. Mix well to make soft dough and then make the small balls of this dough. Roll these balls in sugar. Now place the cookies on ungreased cookie sheet at the distance of 2 inches and pat them. Place the sheet in the oven and bake them for about 10 minutes. Take out the cookies from oven and keep them to cool for 5 minutes and then place the cookies on rack to cool them completely and then store them in air tight container.
