Light corn syrup (1/4c), sugar (2c), candied cherries halved (1/2c), candied citron (1/4c), almond extract (1/4tsp), egg whites (2), vanilla (1tsp), salt (1/8tsp), water (1/2c).
Method of preparation:-
Take a saucepan, place it over heat. Add water, corn syrup, salt and sugar in it. Cook it until the sugar gets dissolved. Take a large bowl, beat egg whites in it and then pour the mixture of syrup in the bowl. Again beat this mixture and then add fruits, vanilla and almond extract in it. Take waxed paper and then place the mixture of spoonful on the paper or pour the mixture on greased pan. Keep it to cool. When the mixture gets set then remove it from the pan and cut it into candy with knife and then serve it when it gets cool.
