Beef chunk roast (1 3 pounds), chili chipotle (1 optional), beef broth or water (1/2c), chili powder (2tbsp), freshly ground black pepper (1tsp), oregano (1tsp), ground cumin (1 to 1 1/2tsp), salt (1 1/2tsp), fresh peeled garlic (6to8 cloves).
Method of preparation:-
Take a 4 ½-quarter slow cooker, put the garlic cloves in it. Cut the meat into 6 or 8 pieces. Season the meat pieces all over with spices. Now put the meat pieces into the slow cooker. Add both or water and chipotle chili in the cooker. Put the top on and cook on low for 12 to 14 hours. The meat should shred easily when you poke it with a fork. Now shreds the meat and mix it with juices. Serve the meat and some of the juices on the top of rice. Sprinkle the fresh cilantro or cubed tomatoes over the juices according to desire or serve it as a part of taco-filling buffet along with cilantro leaves, lettuce, cheese, beans and tomatoes.
