Carne Guisada Recipe

A simple to make recipe that is wonderful to eat.

Ingredients of the Recipe:

1 pound beef stew meat, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 1/2 (6 ounce) can tomato paste, A 10.5 ounce can beef broth, 1/2 cup water, 2 cloves garlic crushed, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, salt to taste, 2 tablespoons cooking oil and chopped and 2 teaspoons cornstarch.

Method of Preparation:

Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat. Cook the beef in oil until it turns brown. Remove off the excessive fat. Add the tomato paste, beef broth, water and stir. Use black pepper, chili powder, cumin, garlic, Serrano peppers and salt for seasoning. Reduce the gas and cook gently for 10 hours. Mix cornstarch in some water and add to the stew until it thickens.
